Last Weeks News – Sonya Hodges prayed the beginning prayer after Brad Siler received many prayer requests. Among those was the Ted Jackson family and Irene Richards family, Arthur Stamper, our nation, leaders, military and unsaved.
Kevin Hodges and Aaron Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings after Sunday school classes. Our choir sang with Rhonda Dobbs. Happy birthday was sung to Makinna Humbyrd, daughter of Aaron and Jenin Humbyrd, granddaughter of Stan and Kim Humbyrd and great granddaughter of Doyle and Frances Humbyrd and Peggy Miller.
Testimonies were given before Pastor Neal shared scriptures about giving of thanks. He continued in Hebrews 6 with the six foundations of repentance and faith toward God.
We came again at 5 p.m. for choir practice. At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing. Testimonies and scriptures were shared. He continued in Hebrews 6 and James 6, the doctrine of baptism, the true worship and the doctrine of the laying on of hands.
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time and Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study in Exodus by Pastor Neal. Our annual Christmas dinner will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 8. Come and worship with us. You are welcome.
This Weeks News – Rhonda Dobbs prayed after many prayer requests were given. Happy birthday was to Erin Crum and Avery Hendricks. Happy anniversary was sung to Kevin and Sonya Hodges.
After Sunday school classes, Stan Humbyrd led us in song. The choir sang with Dawnya McFarland.
Pastor Neal taught about Hanukkah in John 10; they would celebrate for eight days. Jesus walked in the temple for Jesus is the light. Let us walk in that light.
We were dismissed by Paul Duckworth.
At 5 p.m. we came together for choir practice. We will be doing a Christmas concert.
At 6 p.m., many prayer requests were shared and Pastor Neal prayed. He preached from Hebrews 6, the resurrection of the dead which is the 5th foundation.
Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer time. Prayer is what changes things. Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study in Exodus.
Next Sunday is our annual Christmas dinner at 4 p.m. All are invited.
