Red Bud News

A good Friday morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope you all had a good week and stayed safe and healthy.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals, and the nursing homes.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to everyone who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.

On Thursday the 19th we had our Christmas dinner at the village with 33 names on the guest book that was signed. There were 23 residents, 3 guests and 6 workers that helped Connie to serve the meal and fix it for us. Our hats are off to them. They did a great job. Also the ladies from the nursing home brought us a gift bag and left on our door while we were having our meal so our hats are off to them too. Connie Burris came on Tuesday and we had our game day with 7 residents attending in the afternoon. We always have a good time with Connie. She always keeps us on our toes with the activities that we do. We look forward to her being with us from time to time. Ralph and Jane did a great job keeping our side walks clean when the snow and ice was on them. So our hats are off to them for a job well done.

No other news at this time so will sign off and get busy as time is quickly passing me by. Take care and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year is our wish to you. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season and He loves you.
