Mt. Tabor Church

Church began with prayer requests, prayer and reading of the devotion. Several are on the list that are still needing a healing touch, undergoing treatment and tests, as well as our military and our nation.

Brother Ric read James 1:17, every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord. In this Thanksgiving and Christmas season, we should be especially mindful of the good things God allows us to enjoy.

Imogene and Clifford Madewell joined their son and wife, Eddie and Becky Madewell, of Mansfield, for Thanksgiving dinner.

Martin Hathcock had Thanksgiving dinner at his home with all his children except, Kathy and Ed Koca, who came the next day:  Bob, Terri and Caleb Hathcock, Jim, Jo Hathcock, Liz and family, Brandon and family, Jan Jones and Stephie and Josh, Kim and Wes Smith, Charlee, Jessica and family, Jennifer and family, Ronda and Eleazar Soto, Eleazar Jr. and family. Scott Hathcock and friend, brought his dad, Clifton, to Pernie Adams’ home and they came to Martin’s the next day.

Pat Lansdown had surgery last Friday evening, reports are she is doing okay, will have a long recuperation period, our best wishes to her.

Bonita and Floyd Winingham arrived at Tom and Jewell Elliotts Wednesday evening, from Nebraska. Later James, Tammy and Ashley Elliott, and Brian Wilson, Jim and Carla Hearod visited.

Having lunch Thursday with the Elliotts was James and Tammy, Bonita and Floyd, Shaun, LeAnna, MaKayla and Logan Elliott, Ashley Elliott and Brian Wilson.

Thursday evening, Connie Thompson, daughter, Katherine, and grand-daughter, Gracie, of St. Charles, and James Elliott, all visited the group. Connie, Katherine and Gracie were overnight guests, returning to their home, Friday.

Saturday visitors of Tom and Jewell, Floyd and Bonita, were Shaun, LeAnna, MaKayla and Logan, James and Tammy, J.C. Hall and Vicky Burnett. Bonita and Floyd returned to their Nebraska home early Sunday morning.  Shaun and LeAnna and children stopped by Sunday evening, also.

Those having dinner with Don and Evelyn Bryan, Thursday, were Jason and Brandy Bryan, of Sparta, Mike, Cindy and Rachel Bryan, of Ozark. They also received calls from Ken and Laney Bryan, of Manhatten, Ks. and grandson, Colby Bryan, who is stationed at Ft. Hood, but was visiting friends in San Antonio. On Friday, Don, Evelyn, Mike, Cindy and Rachel, made a weekend trip to Oklahoma to enjoy the beautiful Christmas light displays.

Larry and Marsha Miller were hosts for their family Thanksgiving dinner with the following in attendance: Gary and Carol Herd, Doug and Gina Hawkins and Sara Beth, Darren and Kayla Lietch, Phoenix, Cameron, and Brocklin, Chestene Lietch, Jason Lietch, Kalynn Lietch,  Bill, Abby and Chandler Bonham.

Having Thanksgiving dinner with Harold and Kay Hutchison were Gary and Stephanie Mishler, Dylan and Morgan Clements, Jeff, Kristy and Steven Tackett, Harlin and Amy Hutchison. The Mishlers spent Wednesday night with the Hutchisons, the Tacketts went on to Mtn. Home Friday to camp over the weekend. Kim and Danny Clements had Thanksgiving dinner in their home with Morgan, Dylan and Ed Johnson as their guest.
