Brother Leon Turner brought the Sunday School lesson today titled Stand Your Ground, Never compromise when it’s a matter of Biblical right or wrong.  Please read Galatians 2: 12-14.

Just the mention of Jesus name can cause conflict.  Have you ever noticed that some people get very uncomfortable when God is brought into the conversation?  The very opposite reaction should occur because Jesus brings peace!  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27.  At the end of our lives, the only thing that is going to matter is what we did for God.  When you are saved by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, He has things that he wants and expects of you.  He also has a wonderful reward prepared for you!  This good news of the gospel is for everybody, not just a select few.  Open your heart to Him today and accept His gift of salvation and peace.

Pastor Barry DeWeese’s sermon today was titled What’s Growing In Your Garden?  Please read Galatians 2: 1-14 and 1 Corinthians 15.

Do you have any weeds growing in your garden?  Your sins are the weeds in your garden.  Some of these weeds may be gossip, lies, talking bad about someone, immorality, stealing and cheating.  If you are alive today there is sin in your life because we live in a fallen world.  Luckily, by the grace of God, there is forgiveness available for those sins through Jesus Christ.  Keep your weeds to a minimum by spending time with God each day through prayer, reading your Bible and worshiping Him.

Please join us for Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Service at 11 a.m..  We are having potluck this Sunday after services so please come and join us for food and fellowship!
