Michael E. Lawson, 39

Michael E. Lawson, 39, of Neosho, Mo., passed away Nov. 4, 2013. According to officers, he was driving around 3 a.m. and swerved to miss something. The car flipped and slammed into a tree. Thankfully, he did not suffer.

He lived in Ava, Mo., for over 15 years. At one time he had his own plumbing business called Lawson’s Plumbing.

Mike enjoyed mudding and spending time with his kids. He also enjoyed tinkering. If you couldn’t find him in the house he was either working or in the garage tinkering. He also enjoyed helping people. Even if all he had to give was a dollar he would gladly give it away.

He is preceded in death by his oldest son, Kyle E. Lawson, and the grandmother he adored, Lee Ila Davis.

He is survived by his father, Ralph Lawson; mother, Etta (Davis) Mecke; daughter, Samantha Lawson; son Cody Lawson; two brothers, Claude Lawson and Thomas Mecke; two sisters, Anne Mecke and Chasity (Lawson) Danley; many friends, nephews and nieces.
