Black Oak Church

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang.  He read John 4:1-15 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

We sang Happy Birthday to Brother Roy and wish him many more.  We appreciate all he does for the church.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Liviya Wharton, Zoe Shull, Macee Breeding and Quin Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Happy Birthday in November to Chase Dodson, Melanie Breeding, Brandon Turley and Kenny Adams.

Please pray for Lena Pierce, Wilma Sanders, Tanya Scott, Dara Strong family, John and Zamber Little and Colt, Floyd Graham, Jo Stephens, Gene Pool, Pete Turley and family, Sherry Beverly, Nikki and young man, all bereaved, unsaved, unspoken, military, country and leaders, youth leaders, and each other.

The church surprised Pastor David with a Pastor Appreciation card and love gift; he sang then preached from Proverbs 15:3.  The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.  We can’t hide anything from God.

We were glad to have visitors today and pray they will come back.

We are having good Bible study in Ephesians on Wednesday nights at 6:00.

Sunday evening was our singing and testimony service and we were blessed with both.

Please join us if you are looking for a church family.

May God bless you all and may we all be a blessing to Him this week.
