Ava Volleyball Season Ends At District Tournament

The Ava High School volleyball season ended in the first round of the Class 3, District 10 tournament at Marshfield Monday night.
The Lady Bears lost to Rogersville, which went on to beat Springfield Catholic in the semifinals, then won the championship beating top-seed Buffalo.
Rogersville will play Reeds Spring, winner of District 11, at 1 p.m. Saturday, at either Pleasant Hill or Carl Junction, whichever team wins the District 12 championship game being played Wednesday night.
