Oak Grove Church

Last week we began what we hope will become an ongoing celebration of faith, Youth Night at the church. A small group of teens came, and while Seth Nickels made the piano talk, the rest of us gathered around the piano for a good time singing praises to the Lord. We intend to continue having Youth Night each Monday evening, kick-off at 6:30 p.m. You are invited, come and sing, praise the Lord, eat a little pizza and have a good time.

This past week I also had the great pleasure of working with the National Missions team on a project with Antioch Church, in Fox, Arkansas on the construction of a large building to house a new clinic, food kitchen, youth center and community help center. We had a great time working together and praising the Lord.

Come and join us next Sunday. We will begin Sunday school at 10:00 a.m., followed by morning worship services at 11:00. If you play an instrument, or sing, we would be happy to put you to work making music for the Lord.

Next Sunday’s morning message will be, “Saul, the Unintentional, Intentional Servant,” come and explore it with us.

We will not have evening services next Sunday because we will be at the Donley Plantation, north enjoying a time of fellowship, hayride and maybe even a hot dog, come along and see if you can get together with Christian brothers and sisters without smiling from time to time, (come on, it’ll be a hoot).
