Books-n-Bits from The Douglas County Public Library

We are going to start getting busy at the Douglas County Library. The Friends of the Library are having a Spring Book Sale in the library conference room beginning May 2 and running through Saturday, May 4. There are lots of recently donated books to choose from at very reasonable prices. Come early for the best selection. And be sure to stop in Saturday from 9 a.m.- 12 noon and pick out a whole grocery bag of books for only $3.00

We are also gearing up for the children’s summer reading programs which will start the week of June 3 and run through the end of July. The theme this year is ‘A Universe of Stories,’ and we have lots of stories and activities planned that will entertain children aged three through twelve. Call the library at 683-5633 to pre-register.
