Today’s Sunday School Lesson was about The Bible Meets Life. Please read James 1:1-4. This is really a pressure points lesson. We are all under pressure every day. Kids are under peer pressure, adults are under work and worldly pressures. Jesus talks about the pressure of trials. Can we find joy in our trials? We are to have a joyful trust that God will get us through any trial. Even though trials are not fun and we had much rather not have any, we are to make our trial to bring hope to someone else. Others are certainly watching how we as Christians react to our trials.
Our Sermon today was we have to accept the cross along with the crown. Please read Timothy 2:3-12, 16-17, Luke 9:62 and Hebrews 12:1. Did you realize that because of you and me Christ died? He shed that precious blood that we might be forgiven of our sins and spend eternity with Him in Heaven. God wants your total commitment. Trust God with your life today and begin a life of joy that only Jesus can provide.
If you don’t have a church home, please join us for Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Worship Services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry DeWeese.
