September 17th meeting was called to order by Sharon with 14 weighing in with a loss of 20-1/4 lbs. Rachel was high loser and Linda P. and Audrey stayed the same.

The lesson was on fruits and vegetables and a study by Harvard School of Medicine. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, at least 5 to 13 servings or 2-1/2 to 6-1/2 cups a day. 2,000 calories is 2-1/2 cups of fruits and 2-1/2 cups of vegetables. Leafy veggies are more needed, get some every day. Salad and stir fry are good combinations. We discussed the color wheel and had questions and answers on ways to cut sugar and ways to add vegetables, ways to encourage others, 4 ways to burn calories and 4 ways to reduce stress.
