Red Bud News

A good morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope you all had a safe and good Labor Day weekend. Some got a few drops of rain about noon, others nothing that I have heard about.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. May God bless each and every one of you.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.

This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Lois went with Norma Jones to Ava Place on Wednesday to visit with Norene Pellham. On Friday Lois went with Marjorie Graham to the nursing home to check on Floyd, her brother. They brought him to the nursing home from the hospital Friday evening.

No other news turned in so on to the going-ons of Norma Jones.

On Wednesday morning Norma went to Ava Place and church in the evening. Thursday night she went to the theater for the music program and on Friday about noon went to the nursing home to sing for Leah Lee. While there she visited with Angie Adams, who used to be a resident at Red Bud. Then Friday evening to Dan’s recording for more music. Saturday she went to Ave Theodosia Tire and Lube for the pogram there which lasted from 11 to 3 p.m. Saturday night Arlen “Bud”, Jerry Lee and Lane Watkins and Norma Jones went to Diggins for more music and met with Amy June and Jacob Watkins there. On Monay Steven Watkins and Norma went to the farm to visit with the girls and Jacob. In the afternoon they all went to Miss Peggy Greene’s for a cookout then back to town. Peggy and Norma attended the Monday night jam at the Senior Citizens.

Visitors of Norma have been Derek, Steven, Bud, Lane Watkins and Peggy Greene.
