Our morning service began with a good morning to everyone from Bro. Gregg. We had prayer requests for our loved ones, the sick, the lost, our government, and many more things going on in this world. It is good that we have a big God. Bro. Gregg led in prayer. We had our pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for Jesus and it was time for Sunday school classes to begin.
Our leader, Bro. Bob began with a good morning. Our lesson was in first John. It spoke of our sins and being forgiven. We had class comments and discussion. It was a good lesson.
It was then time to sing for the Lord. The choir was small, but in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord with prayer from Bro. Gregg. We had specials from Sister Peggy and Bro. David Lafferty. Bro. Lafferty and family were visiting with us and we enjoyed the special he did so much.
Bro. Gregg opened with prayer and used Galatians 3:7-14 and Genesis 2:15 to bring us the word from the Lord. It was a good message. We closed with a song. We had special prayer for Sister Carla and Bro. Gregg dismissed us with prayer.
We began our evening service with our prayer circle. Again we had many prayer requests. Bro. Gregg led in prayer. We had a good prayer circle even though many were absent due to the holiday and illness. We sang for the Lord and had specials from little Jayden, Sister Juanita, and Bro. Dale.
Bro. Gregg brought the evening message from Daniel 6:1-10 and Acts 12:1-4. It was a good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and prayer from Bro. Bob.
We have our monthly business meeting this Wednesday night following the devotion.
Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
