Today’s Sunday School Lesson was about God Sending His Son. Please read John 1:1-2,11-14,18,29 and Matthew 4:17-24.
If someone asks you about Jesus and why He is so important in your life, what would you say? Some important ways to reach lost people is to explain what Jesus has done for you personally. Another way is to explain the hope that only Jesus gives. He is the ONLY way to Heaven. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the father, but by me. Also, Jesus was fully God and fully man. There is power in just saying the name of Jesus.
Brother Barry’s sermon today was about taking a stand for Christ. Please read Psalms 23:4, Habakkuk 2, Romans 1:17, Hebrews 11:6.
When you are saved through the blood of Jesus, you are saved from spending eternity in Hell! When we are yet lost, we are blinded by our sin. We must reach the lost with the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Death will one day come for all of us and we are all going to stand before God and give a account of our life. There is only one person who can safely walk you through the valley of the shadow of death and get you safely to the other side and that person is the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you know Him? If you believe in you heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died on the cross for you and rose again just say this prayer and be saved today. Dear Lord, I’m a sinner, please forgive me of my sins, please come into my heart and save me today. In Jesus name I pray. Amen! Congratulations, you are a new creature in Christ! The angels in Heaven are singing and rejoicing that your name is now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
If you don’t have a church home, please join us for Sunday School at 10 a.m. and Worship Services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Barry DeWeese.
