The Walnut Grove musicians opened the Sunday morning service with songs and then prayer and more hymns.
I sang the special then Brother Roberts brought the message from Hebrews 11:8-13, “Heaven.”
Sunday evening message was from I Peter 2, “Christ Is Precious.”
We have been busy this week with painting and sorting, getting ready for a big yard sale in a couple of weeks. It is amazing just how much stuff a couple can accumulate over a period of time and not even realize you have so much stuff.
The house is shaping up nicely. We have been enjoying more visitors since moving to town. It is handier for each one to stop in for a spell.
I have gotten two rooms in the basement painted and have three more to do. It seems slow but in all reality I think it is moving right along.
My brother and sis have been a God send to us along with friends and neighbors who have pitched in and done a lot of cleaning and painting. We are very blessed. God is Good.
Visitors this week were, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Noah Deatherage and friend, CR from Alabama, Donna Bannister, Bevy Moore, Gene Orth, Jack and Barb Breshears, Nora Hunsaker, Lee Williams, Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson, Beth Stafford, Johnathon Snelson, Mandy Logan, Callie Logan, and Kensly Berry, Dwayne, Misty, Justin and Kendall Cook, Earnie and Helen Cook and Angela McKay.
Delmar and I visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams one day and had supper at Jack and Barb Breshears one evening, and lunch one day with Beth Stafford and Johnathon Snelson. One afternoon, Bevy Moore, Brenda Eaves, Kathleen Deatherage, Donna Applequist and I met at Ava Drug for ice cream and soda. We had a nice visit.
Just want to tell you that I saw the Master when He came down to wake up the World.
