A good Tuesday morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope you all had a safe and good weekend. And found a cool place to be in all the heat.

We send get-well wishes to all thte sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes. May you be up and about real soon.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We send greetings to all who have a birthday at this time. We hope you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.

No news turned in this week so now for the adventures and activities of Norma. On Wednesday last week Steven Watkins and I went to Seymour for the funeral of Ray Lee who was a good neighbor and friend from the West Dogwood area. Then on Friday evening Steven and I went to the farm to spend the night and Saturday with the girls and Jacob. Then on Saturday evening we all loaded the car along with Peggy Greene and headed to Mountain Gove for a time of fellowship to celebrate Amy June’s birthday. We all had an evening meal at a chinese place then on to the Cross Roads for bowling. It was the first for the girls and Jacob. Then back to Ava for a time of rest as the rest of the group went back to West Dogwood for the night.

Visitors of Norma have been Derek Watkins and Christina on Tuesday morning.

Have a good week to try to stay cool and check on your neighbors during the hot days. Until next week, Jesus loves you.
