Gainesville Health Care Center is proud to announce that they have received a 5 star rating from Medicare. The 5 star rating was designed by Medicare to help families and caregivers compare nursing homes when considering long-term placement of a loved one or a short-term rehab stay after surgery.
The rating gives each nursing home a rating of 1 through 5 based on health inspections over the past 3 years, staffing and quality measures.
“Our success is due to an outstanding team of employees,” said Administrator, Sherri Beasley. “Many of us have had loved ones here as residents and know how important it is to treat each resident as if they were our own family member. Gainesville is a very close community and many of our residents have been our teachers, our co-workers, our friends so it is an honor to care for those who have spent their lives caring for us.”
Gainesville Health Care Center is a 99 bed skilled nursing home that offers physical, occupational and speech therapy, hospice care, respite care, bariatric care and adult day care. One of the unique benefits is that our physician and medical director, Dr. Aaron Newton, visits four days a week, and Madalyn Hicks, FNP visits one day a week to address resident needs and concerns.
