We had a weekend of spirit-lifting messages. God blessed us richly.
Sunday morning the prayer requests were long. I am thankful God hears and attends to each one.
Pastor Gary’s sermon was Psalms 37.
We need to read and reread that chapter.
Verse 1, Fret not. That covers a multitude of problems. Do we, though?
There are so many good instructions.
I believe almost my favorite verse is 16, “A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.”
God blessed us again Sunday night. Bro. Ray Dobbs brought this evening message.
God sure annointed him.
He said a few words on Psalms 37.
One thing, “It’s not good for a Christian to worry, “fret.” Know that God will take care of his own. Walk the walk you profess, fret not.
He also used Luke 8:22, “Now it came to pass on a certain day, we all know the story of Jesus, the disciples, the ship, the storm and Jesus asleep.
The disciples were fearful for their life? He asked them “Where is your faith?”
We can fret about so many things, but do not fret about your hereafter, be sure about that.
