Sunday I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said that she and Cecilia Edwards went to church.

Bonnie said that her granddaughter, Courtnie Vigessa, Wylie, Weslie and Wayden came to Missouri Thursday to attend her grandmother Libby Elliott’s funeral in Bolivar. Bonnie said she will get to see Courtnie’s youngest boy, Wayden, while they are back here.

My Naked Ladies are in full bloom since it has started to rain a lot and they are beautiful.

I took my news and eggs in last Monday and then I stopped by the nursing home and I think I got to visit with everyone this time and when I stopped by Lenora Burton’s she had a visitor who was Freeda Holt, who I hadn’t seen for a while. When I got to Marie Dickey’s she was eating and was going to see her doctor in Springfield so I didn’t talk to long. Marie called me when she got back and the doctor said she had arthritis in her back and tailbone. Otherwise, she is making head way.

Last Tuesday I received 1.5 of an inch of rain, Saturday 1.8 of an inch of rain and then by 5:30 Sunday evening I had .7 of an inch more and it is still raining.

Wednesday I took my tin and pop cans off. I got my grass cut Thursday and it was needing it in back, I sure appreciate Steve for cutting it.

Evelyn Bryan came by and visited and brought me a pair of beautiful earrings. Violet Blakey stopped by and picked up all the quilt blocks and that evening Kay Hutchison stopped and brought me the daisy wheel that I ordered for my Word Processor.

Friday I went to town and paid some bills.

Saturday I went and got some groceries and later in the day Lakota came by and visited with me and picked up a birthday gift that I got her and forgot about it.

Ellis came over and ate dinner with me Sunday after church. Mark, Sherry and Mark Weston came later for a while.

Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers, I have two brothers and one sister–in-law that need your prayers.

My prayer and sympathy go out to all who have lost a loved one.

Keep praying for our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in your prayers.
