The Walnut Grove band started the morning service off with music and songs. Prayer requests were taken then prayer.

Sister Tillie Fowler brought the beautiful special.

Brother Bub Coonce brought the message from Psalm 129 and Jonah 1, “ Obeying God’s Calling.”

The evening service was dismissed for the visitation of one of our church family, Albert Erickson, who we will really miss in our community.

We attended the visitation for Albert, as did a host of family and friends and neighbors. Our prayers go up for the Erickson family.

Last week, my granddaughter, Hailey Carter, spent three nights with us then her parents and brother, Rusty, Becky and Maeson Carter came down from Nixa and ate supper with us and took Hailey home. On Saturday, the Carter family brought Maeson Carter down to spend a couple of nights with us then my sis, Kathleen Deatherage, and I took Maeson to Ozark on Monday to meet his mom, Becky Carter.

On Sunday evening, I took Maeson Carter and Johnathon Snelson to the movie and we enjoyed watching Despicable Me 2. Maeson and Johnathon are about the same age so like to play together.

On Monday, Beth Stafford made stuffed green peppers and had us over for supper. She makes the best stuffed peppers and I almost foundered on them. While there we visited with Mandy Logan.

On Friday, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, drove to Kansas City to spend the weekend with her sister and friend. While there they attended a Royals game then as they came home on Sunday, they came through Windsor, MO. and visited Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris.

We have been busy doing more fixing up on our house, we are really liking the city life so far.

We have been happy to see the rains we have been getting. The gardens were really needing moisture.

Until next week, I am so glad that God Knows My Name.
