Our morning service began with a good morning to all from Bro. Gregg. We had prayer requests and there were many. Prayer was led by Sister Naomi. We had or pledges to the flags and to the Bible. We sang for Jesus and gave our Sunday school gifts with Sister Alice praying.
Sunday school began with our leader Sister Naomi leading in prayer. The lesson was in the book of Jonah. The lesson was good with some class comments and discussion.
We sang Happy Birthday to Peggy Potts and Phyliss Robertson. We then sang Happy Anniversary to Ed and Phyliss Robertson celebrating their 56th year together. Coins For Christ was gathered by our young people. Time to sing for the Lord. The choir was in good voice. We gave our gifts to the Lord and prayer was led by Bro. Gregg. We had specials from Sister Sharron and Sister Diane.
Bro. Gregg opened with prayer and brought the message from Deuteronomy 6:1 and Jeremiah 10:10. Good message from the Lord. We closed with a song and dismissed with prayer led by Bro. Bob.
Our evening service began with our prayer circle. It is growing all the time. We gave our requests and Bro. Gregg lead in prayer. We sang for the Lord. We had a special from Sister Sharron and some testimonies. Bro. Gregg led in prayer and brought the message from John 21:15-19. It was a good message. Bro. Gregg turned the meeting over to Bro. Gene Terry to invite those who wanted to join the church, but before he did that he gave us a short message on the Freewill Baptist Church. We had five people to join our church and it was a real blessing.
Before we closed we had altar prayer for a person in need of prayer. Bro. Gregg then dismissed with prayer.
We had a bake sale and two rummage sales last week and they were a real success. They made $618.77. This is all going for the young people to be able to do some extra things they will enjoy like going to camp and other things. God bless all that are working so hard to get these things done.
Have a great week, keep God in your heart and you will be blessed.
