Caney once again went to White River Youth Camp Wednesday evening service. It was a blessing to see and hear these youth. There was several that sang specials. Very talented youth.

Sunday school opened with congregational singing.

Bro. Jack Essary warmly welcomed everyone. Prayer requests and praise reports were taken. We have many concerns in our church family. Bro. Jeff Shipley led us in prayer.

Jack read Matthew 23:29-39 for our devotional. God’s judgments and promises will come. Maddie Shipley sang while offering was received.

Praise and Worship moved to testimonies and congregational singing. Testimonies were given from Jim Lafferty, Jeff Shipley, Elsie Combs and Melba Austin. Melba Austin did special music. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this beautiful morning. He took his scripture from Exodus 3:1-7, Hebrews 23-27 and Isaiah 33:13-17. The fire of God seems to be dying in our country. We must be like Moses. We need to see the fire burning, look to Christ and trust Him even though you will be a stranger in your land. That fire needs to be burning within every Christian. If we stand with Christ we can be more than conquerors. We shall see the beauty Christ has prepared for us. Service closed with Bro. Hi Lambeth singing. It was a spirit-filled service.

We came Sunday evening to praise and worship the Lord. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed all. Prayer was given by Sis. Melba Austin. Testimonies were given by Melba Austin, Hi Lambeth, Bill Austin, Janice Lafferty and Jeff Shipley. Bro. Jack Essary spoke Sunday evening. His scripture was Ephesians 2:1-14. We have to turn from our evil ways to enter heaven. The truth has to be preached. Only God’s word is true. Only through the grace can we make heaven if we repent and accept Christ. We at Caney are blessed to have men in our church who preach and teach God’s word. They don’t sugar coat it. Judgment is coming, be ready to meet Jesus.
