Mosquito bites can transmit the dangerous West Nile virus and other diseases including malaria, and dengue fever.  When you’re outside at dawn and dusk, wear long sleeves, long pants, socks and closed-toe shoes.  Mosquitoes are most active at these times.  Spray clothes with an insect repellant containing deet, picardin or oil of lemon eucalyptus.  Off! Back Woods Sportsmen II and Cutter Backwoods Unscented are best.
