Two Bears Receive Baseball All-District Recognition

Ava junior Ben Loge has been named first team all-district pitcher in post-season voting, it was announced this week.
Also receiving all-district baseball honors is Ava second baseman Cooper Emerich, who was named a second team infielder. Emerich was also a junior this past school year.
Following is the complete all-district roster for Missouri Class 3, District 10.
1st Team All-District
Pitchers: Mathew Tipton, Springfield Catholic; Ben Loge, Ava.
Catcher: Robby Ruzicka, Catholic.
Infield: Brayton Ballenger, Catholic; Eric Atwell, Catholic; Tanner Cantrell, Houston; Zane Cornman, Mtn. View-Liberty.
Outfield: Eric Smith, Catholic; Chaz Price, Strafford; Aaron Cantrell, Houston.

2nd Team All-District
Pitchers: Devin Coulter, Houston; Jacob Wade, Strafford; Garrett Newberry, Mtn. Grove.
