There was a lot of things going on last week. Norma, Kenny and Seth was here one day helping with yard work and etc.

There was ballgames Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I just made it to one of them.

Roxanna Davis went over to DeAnn Thompson’s home Wednesday to pick out a couple of her german shepherd puppies for her son and his buddy. They are in the service somewhere. They will come in and pick them up when they are weaned in a couple weeks.

Wednesday is Goodhope General Baptist Church. It was our turn to take desserts and help serve the evening meal at the White River Church Camp out of Taneyville, MO. Brenda Reed, Norma Cross, Sue Brown and me all attended. I always enjoy the fellowship with other workers and the boys and girls.

Sue Brown and DeAnna went to Squires Saturday for a family reunion.

Kinsey Thompson celebrated her 15th birhtday and getting her permit to drive. Friday night she invited several of her friends over for a slumber party. Kelly sat a big tent up for them to sleep in and helped them build a bonfire. They roasted hot dogs and made S’mores and all the trimmings. Saturday morning they went to Ava for breakfast. Some of them spent the day together.

For those that didn’t make it out to Goodhope General Baptist Church for the three day revival, you missed a bunch of blessings. Rev. Doug Irwin brought four very spiritual messages. The Faithful provided some beautiful songs. Bro. Irwin and his family sang some songs also. We ended Sunday evening service with a fellowship meal.

Freeda Richards, Norma Cross and I had lunch with the senior citizens Thursday. They served really good food and lots of it for $3.50.

Jerry Hall is staying in rehab now. He has shown a little improvement after having a stroke.

Norma and Kenny visited with Peggy Saturday afternoon.

II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
