Red Bud News

I will begin my news by saying sorry no news last week, but with Monday being a holiday then Tuesday I was in Springfield with Steven for his surgery. No time for news before the paper was published and no news was turned in to be printed.

A good Tuesday morning to all our readers and friends. We hope you all had a good and safe weekend.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We also send greetings to all the birthday people. May you have a great day with many more to come is our wish for you.

This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. On May the 24th Evelyn Witchey and Fae went to the Huffman Cemetery to decorate the graves of our loved ones. On Sunday the 26th Larry Hutchinson came and got Fae. We all went to the Harvill Cemetery and decorated graves of our loved ones there. Then a picnic lunch with a number of family and friends. Larry and Wanda brought Fae home that evening.

Recent visitors were Lois Graham, Evelyn Witchey, Wanda Hutchinson and Lindsey Schroader.

On Saturday evening several friends and family members gathered in the home of Kim and Jerry Lee Watkins for a fish fry with all the trimmings. The fish was great along with all the rest of the food. The children enjoyed playing games in the backyard while the adults visited with each other.

No other news turned in so I will sign off and start to Springfield to my heart doctor. Take care, stay happy, healthy and safe.

Until next week, Jesus loves you.
