I talked with Bonnie Phipps Sunday afternoon and she had went to church that morning and she told me that they baptized five people that day.

I took my news in last Monday when I went to the military service at the Ava Cemetery and I gave my news to Keith Moore before I left there. I went by Carol Moore’s and took her some eggs.

Tara brought Jett over last Tuesday and we had lots of fun because we hadn’t seen each other for a week.

Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to Mountain Grove to their O.E.S. Friendship that night.

Wednesday I had a doctor appointment in Ozark so when I got through there I stopped by my sister’s, Margaret Allen and visited with her before I headed to Ava. When I got to O Hwy. I turned and went to Goodhope and went down 76 to the Mt. Tabor Cemetery where I took some pictures then I stopped at Tom and Jewell Elliott’s and Lloyd and Ruth Shumate’s before I went to the nursing home and gave Marie Dickey a Get-Well card that everyone at Mountain Grove had signed for her.

Thursday evening I took eggs in to Donna Nichols and some to the courthouse where I delivered some to Elizabeth Bock and I really enjoyed talking to her. She spoke at the cemtery Monday and did a good job. I hope the ones that didn’t make it up there listened to it on the radio.

Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey all went to the Jerry’s Whirl Winds at the El Rancho Truck Stop and Restaurant for our meeting that evening.

Tara brought Jett Friday morning and that evening Tara and Justin picked him up.

Friday morning I had a total of 3.1 inches of rain and 2.2 inches of rain on Saturday by eleven that morning.

Ellis Blakey came by Saturday morning and then Mark, Sherry and Mark Weston came by.

I received a call from Ruth Shumate and she said that Lloyd had passed away that morning, by the time you get this news Lloyd’s funeral will be over because it will be Wednesday at two.

I went up to Ruth and took some food Saturday and then I went to the nursing home and saw Marie and all the others that I usually visit with and talked with John Haskin who has had pneumonia.

Lets keep all our sick folks in our prayers, some are in the hospital, nursing home and in their own home.

My prayers and sympathy goes out to the Lloyd Shumate families and all the others who have lost a loved one.

Keep your prayers going up for our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training.
