Red Bud News

A good Tuesday morning to all our friends, neighbors and our readers. We hope you all had a great weekend, and all the mothers had one too, as Sunday was a day just for them.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals and the nursing homes.

Our sympathy to all who have lost a loved one. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We say Happy Birthday to everyone who has a big day at this time. May you have a good day and with many more to come.

This news from the desk of Lois Graham. Lois went with her nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Graham to visit her brother on Sunday evening at the home of Floyd Graham at Thornfield. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Brian Garrison and girls. Lois Graham’s visitors on her birthday were Norma Jones with a card and flower. Kathy Coats with card and candy. I appreciate it, ladies, also the three phone calls.

Kathy visited the Ken Willis’. Ken has been setting out their flowers.

I, Norma, had a great and blessed weekend. On Friday evening I drove to the farm to spend some time with the girls and Jacob and back to town Saturday night. I appreciate Christina for driving me back. I was truly blessed on Sunday morning, as four of my five children were at church, Jerry Lee and Kim, Arlen “Bud”, Ralissa, Lane, Amy June, Naomi and Jacob Watkins, also, phone calls from Peggy Watkins, Robin and grandson, Ronald with Mother’s Day wishes. After church part of the family went to the upper park for a picnic and to visit while the little ones played. I appreciate the children and all for a great day, a day I will always remember. Steven, we missed you.

We want to say congratulations to the Seniors as they graduate on Friday. Good luck to all of you is our wish.
