Black Oak Church

“I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tent of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give you grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee,” Psalm 84:10-12.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Luke 16:10-13 for the devotion then dismissed us to class.

The children studied about Jesus as the healer.

Quin Breeding and Macee Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Brother Bobby Turley took up the tithes and offering.

Pastor David sang then preached God’s message from Luke 6 on being persecuted.

Please pray for the following: Dalton and family, John Little and family, Richard Mitchell, Larry Burnett, Jim Satterfield, Dane Brazeal and family, Wanda Goss, Darlene Lister, people traveling, all bereaved, unsaved, unspoken, military, country and leaders, Camp Piland and each other.

Pastor David preached from Psalm 84. A child of God should want to be in the house of God.

May God bless you all this week.
