Sunday morning service opened with prayer and the Praise Team leading us in some awesome songs.

Brother Dave Lafferty did a beautiful song for the special.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Ephesians 5:21-25, “Children Will Pay the Price.”

Sunday evening, we had the Gideon speaker, Brother Ted Kane, who brought a good presentation for us.

Those visiting with us this week were  Keith and Donna Bannister, Pauline Okhuysen, Paul and Donna Lewis and Stacie Hamby and Callie (the dog).

Delmar and I visited one evening with my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams. We, also, visited on Saturday with Uncle Mack Miller, Bob and Linda McCleary.

I talked with my cousin and his wife, Howard and Donna Morris and they said that Judie James  is doing better, but is still in the hospital after having a stroke.

I talked with Aunt Violet Morris and she was feeling draggy, but better.

Well Delmar got his garden plowed and then Glen Detherage came over and smoothed it down for him. He is ready to start planting when the frosts are done.

We visited with my brother and sister-in-law and had dinner with them at their cabin on Saturday. He cooked beans, fried potatoes and deer burgers on the open fire. Kathleen made cornbread and coleslaw to go with it….yummm.

We also, visited with them another day and Kathleen’s dad and brother were there too.

On Sunday afternoon, I made my first lasagna and it turned out really good.

Our sympathy goes out to the Tom Brown family.

Until next week keep Beulah Land in sight.
