Sandy Church

Last Weeks News – Our God is great and mighty and we give Him the praise and glory for a good week in revival, good attendance, great spirit and great preaching by Brother Randy Dalton.  Our church truly was strengthened and encouraged.  Many now have a closer walk and some rededicated their lives.  We appreciate Bryant Ridge, Bradleyville and Caney churches for helping us out.

A little baby girl named Amerais Mae Siler has joined our church family.  Big sister is Adalynn Siler, Dad and Mom are Brad and Patty Siler.  Brad is one of our deacons and Sunday school superintendent. Proud grandparents are John and Connie Siler and great-grandpa Bob Siler.

We sang happy birthday to Carole Gott and happy anniversary to Rick and Elane Crum and Bill and Brenda Cummings.  God bless each of you.  There were several little ones who hunted Easter eggs after church.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing.  He then shared where we are as a church and what He wants us to do.  If each one will find their place and get busy we will grow.  It is always a church’s mission to make disciples for Jesus.  Let us do just that.

Each Sunday we meet at 9:30 am for prayer with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Worship and children’s church at 11 a.m.

Each Tuesday we meet at 7 p.m. for prayer and each Wednesday at 7 p.m. for Bible study in Exodus led by Pastor Neal.  Come and be with us.  You are always welcome.

This Weeks News – Several prayer requests were given as always.  Oh how we need to intercede.  Happy birthday was sung to Sonya Hodges and happy anniversary to Danny and Connie Johnson—for 43 years.

Kevin Hodges prayed the offertory prayer as he and Stan Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings with LeaAnn at the piano.

Danny Johnson and LeaAnn and Erin Crum did special music.

Pastor Neal prayed and again encouraged us to find our place of service unto the Lord.  He shared from Nehemiah where they wrought that which was good, right and true.  He read from II Corinthians 5 and asked us to read it again. I hope each one remembered.  Doyle and I attended the outdoor passion play at New Mansion on Sunday evening.  It was very well done.  I truly enjoyed it, the greatest story ever told.
