A good rainy Tuesday morning to all our friends, neighbors and readers. We hope everyone had a good and safe week with all the rain. Some people had a lot of damage and lost animals due to the flooding.

On Thursday last week we had our monthly dinner with the nice ladies from the Ava Place fixing our dinner for us. There were 12 residents plus 3 guests attending. Our hats are off to the ladies and our appreciation to them.
This news from the desk of Lois Graham. On Wednesday morning Lois went with Norma Jones to Ava Place. While there Lois visited with Norene Pellham and Jeanine Spurlock.
This news from the desk of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Willis. On Sunday Ken and Charlotte celebrated birthdays for three family members with their children and grandchildren. They had a mexican dinner and cake in their home at Red Bud Village.
Visiting in the afternoon were Arlen “Bud” and Peggy Watkins.

I “Norma” have been truly blessed the past week as I have had several of the children and grandchildren visiting. Also Peggy Greene. I spent Friday afternoon and Saturday at the farm visiting with the girls and Jacob. As my niece, Vicki, of Springfield was visiting with Peggy Greene for the weekend.
This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Visitors of Fae have been Wanda Hutchinson, Evelyn Witchey, Florene Flores of Houston, Texas. Florene and Fae went to church at Breedon Sunday. Florene, Fae and Evelyn visited Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Easley of Fordland. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Easley’s came down to Fae’s home on Monday. Harold, Ilene, Evelyn, Florene and Fae all went to Rockbridge and had lunch on Monday.
