Another wonderful day for worship Sunday, with several prayer requests and praise reports,also. We appreciated our visitor. We miss those who were absent.
Brother Ric read 1Corinthians 15:1-19, for his message entitled, “What if there was no resurrection?” He also spoke on some of the problems that churches are facing today.
We are continuing our study on the week of Easter for a few more weeks, please join us on Sunday evening, at 5:30.
Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock continue to struggle, healthwise, and we send our prayers to them. Their family is taking turns staying nights and some days with them and helping with the care of Mary Ann. Kathy and Ed Koca spent the weekend with them and Ed attended Sunday school and church with Martin. Others spending time there this week were Jim and Jo Hathcock, Liz and children, Jan Jones and Stephy, Ronda and Eleazar Soto, Pat and Wes Smith and Charlee, Stephen and Jennifer Potter and children, Jessica Glossip, Brother James Hathcock, Brother Ric and Lisa Engelhardt, Brother Dennis Shumate, Rosie Harris, Judy Wilson, Hellen Blakey, and Kay Hart. They appreciate all the visitors, calls and food that has been brought in.
Visitors of Myrl Cox this past Sunday was Ronnie and Pat Lansdown and Jadon, Jessie and Jenna, Paul Cox, and Melanie Gray. Myrl appreciated the help she got for her yard.
Those joining Tom and Jewell Elliott for Sunday dinner were Miss Ashley Elliott and friend, Brian Wilson, James and Tammy Elliott, Shaun and LeAnna Elliott, MaKayla and Logan. Albert and Doris Elliott visited Tom and Jewell Tuesday afternoon.
Harold and Kay Hutchison drove to West Plains, Saturday, to attend the music festival, where Miss Amy was playing her flute in the contest. They joined Harlin, Shirley and Alic, her mother, Lauralee and cousin, Breann. The group later went to a local restaurant for lunch.
