I talked with Wendee Freeman and she said Cecilia and Madison got together Saturday and fixed the Easter eggs for Sunday so you could call them the bunny rabbit.
Sunday Easter dinner guests in the Bonnie Phipps’ home was Roy and Linda Sue Freeman, Cecilia Edwards, Michael and Wendee Freeman, Matt, Madison, Sydnee and Alexis, every one enjoyed a good meal and visited the rest of the day.
Tara and Jett came over last Monday and Kay came and picked up my food for the Jo Engelhardt funeral at the church.
Tara and Lakota came and picked Jett up that evening.
I took my news in last Tuesday and then I went by Bonnie’s and took her an almanac that I picked up for her and visited with her for a while before I headed to the nursing home where I took some of the ladies one of my homemade rolls before coming on home.
I got a call telling me that Marie Dickey had fallen and had hurt her hip. She was operated on Saturday and came through it just fine. Marie is in Cox South Hospital in Room 806 until Friday when she will be put in the acute center.
Tara brought Jett over Thursday and in the afternoon it was so pretty that we got out and played and he sure can wear you down if you aren’t use to it.
All together this week I received .2 of an inch of rain. Sunday we had 15 for Sunrise service. Bro. Ric Engelhardt brought the message then we had a wonderful breakfast. Sunday school was after that and we had 8 to stay for that and we were dismissed for the day.
I went over to Johnathan and Annie Blakey and Alexia’s for Easter dinner which Annie and Johnathan cooked. When I got there and was going up to the house Chad and Laura Blakey saw me and pulled in and talked to me before heading on to his aunt Donna Sherman’s and then on to his Dad’s.
Those eating dinner in the Blakey home were Hellen Blakey, Ellis and Marsha Blakey, Chase Blakey, Anita Smith, Johnathan, Annie and Alexia. Annie had a delicious ham with all the things to go with it. We took some pictures afterwards then I came on home.
Lets keep praying for our sick folks out there because the list keeps getting bigger and bigger.
My prayer and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.
