Today’s sermon by Bro. Rick Batten:  Luke 17: 20-21 and Romans 14.  “The Kingdom of God cometh not with Observation”.  Bro. Rick said don’t look for God’s Kingdom with a show.  He gave many examples of great Christian men and women-some without much talent, but each had the kingdom of God on the inside.  He also told how some unusual people were used by God in the Bible:  John the Baptist, Peter (cut a man’s ear off), Moses (killed a man), and David (who stole another man’s wife and had the husband killed).  By seeking forgiveness, God still loved these men and forgave them.  He gave examples of different types of people in every congregation:  (1) Impetuous ones, (2) Ones with a past, (3) Stressed out ones.  “Nobody is excluded from Heaven.  We are the same as those in Bible times.  We have different personalities, but God is our Shepherd; we can be different and it is alright as long as we have the KINGDOM OF GOD ON THE INSIDE”.  Everyone is invited to upcoming activities and all church services.  For more information, please call:  Bro. Rick Batten 683-5657 or 250-0918; Shelby Housley 746-4743; or Shelby Moore 746-4751.
