Red Bud News

A good morning to everyone.  We hope you all had a good and safe weekend.  Sorry no news last week as none was turned in and my mind was blank.  We send get well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospital, and the nursing homes.  May you be up about real soon, is our wish for you.  Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones.  May God bless you in your time of sorrow, our thoughts are with you. Also we say a BIG Happy Birthday to all who have your big day, at this time, we wish you the best and many more to come.

This news from the desk of Lois Graham.  Lois was surprised on Sunday evening, when her nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Graham came.  We exchanged our Christmas gifts.  Brenda Garrison came by Sunday morning with some goodies.  A big thanks to all of you.  On Thursday last, we had our monthly dinner, here in the village, with 16 names on our guest list.  There were 14 residents with two guests attending. I, “Norma,” spent Thursday night and Friday all day, at the farm with the girls and Jacob.  Naomi and Jacob Watkins brought me home Friday night.

Visitors of Norma, the last week, have been; Naomi, Jacob, Bud, Peggy, Ralissa, Lane and Derek Watkins.  It was good to visit with and catch up on the family.  Also had  a phone call from an old school mate, Shirley “Smith” Copeland, of Springfield.  It was good to hear how she was doing.  We attended school at Wagner, in NW Douglas County.  If you have news, just let us know.  On Monday afternoon, Peggy Greene and Naomi and Jacob Watkins, visited with Norma.  It was the girl’s day off from work.

More news from Lois Graham; Lois had another surprise Monday evening, when Mr. and Mrs. Brian Garrison and their twins, Allison and Addison came.  Brian is a great nephew.  The twins are her great-great nieces. It was good to see them.

Have a good week and stay healthy, happy and warm.  Till next week…Jesus loves you!
