Regular exercise strengthens muscles, reduces the risk of some diseases and promotes mental well-being. Don’t despair if you can’t fit in the recommended thirty minutes each day. New evidence suggests that just fifteen minutes a day can lengthen your life span.
The findings suggests that just 15 minutes of moderate exercise can cut the risk of death by 14% and extend life expectancy by three years compared to those who do not exercise. Both men and women and people of all ages benefited from fifteen minutes of physical activity a day. So seniors, get up, get walking and extend your life.
