I didn’t get Bonnie called Sunday and I need to get this ready for Kay to pick it up in the morning, I will get her news in next week.
Last Monday I went to my O.E.S. meeting and it was our Christmas night. Gina Hawkins was with us until it was time for our meeting and then she got a call saying come home because her mother-in-law was sick.
I called Gina last Tuesday morning to see how her mother-in-law was and she had just passed away that morning before I called. Doug and Gina have my deepest sympathy.
I took my news in and went by the radio station and I then paid my taxes for another year.
Wednesday I went over to the nursing home and took Bessie Hall a piece of carrot cake and to Pauline Schauffler, Roxie Heimeyer, Irene Richards, Goldie Miller and Peggy Jenkins and also a Christmas card that afternoon. Ruby Smith came by and brought me a Christmas card and we set and talked for a while. Don and Evelyn Bryan came and picked Martin Hathcock and me up and we went down to the church for Bible study and Kay and Nina was there.
Thursday I received .6 of an inch of rain in my gage and we had a little snow and some pellets too, but didn’t stick.
Kristie brought Lakota over Friday at noon and Lakota put my Christmas tree up while I went into town and dropped some gifts off and then I went by Anita Smith’s and took her a carrot cake before I came on home.
Saturday I went to Bessie Hall’s home and took her a carrot cake and stayed a while.
Evelyn Bryan came by and brought me a good box full of goodies.
After I got home from church Vernal came down and brought everyone a box of cheese for Christmas because they won’t be here for Christmas. They are going to Ellen’s mother’s house.
Mark and Mark Weston and Jame came later so they took their cheese with them.
We have a lot of sick folks out there so keep those prayers coming.
My prayers and sympathy go out to all who have a lost loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
