Don't Miss

Sandy Church

On Saturday, we had our annual deer hunter’s meal of chili, potato soup and pie, which our hunters look forward to each year.  We receive donations that help with our missions at Christmas.

Brad Siler, our Sunday School Superintendent, led us in our devotional read from Romans.  He read a thank you note from Judy McFarlin..

Prayer requests were given for Chloe Wilson and family, Tony Todd, who had back surgery, Randy Dalton in revival in North Missouri, Karen and Jonathan Witchey, Paul Duckworth, Danny Johnson, our nation, leaders and military and most of all our lost loved ones.

After Sunday school class, Stan and Jordan Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.  Stan Humbyrd led us in songs with LeaAnn Crum at the piano.  Testimonies and praises were given for our Great God, his love and forgiveness to us.

Pastor Neal began by saying, “Keep your eyes on Jesus.  We have a King, King Jesus”.  He gave a thank you to all veterans for their service to us, especially his dad, Rick Crum, who led us in prayer for all who have served our Country.

Pastor Neal read from Luke 22, Jesus continues his journey to the cross.  He is always teaching lessons to prepare us for tomorrow.

We were dismissed in prayer by Jim Harris, who asked the blessing on our noon meal.

At 6 p.m., we began with prayer by Pastor Neal then singing.  Elijah Dalton sang a special for us.  We thank God for our little ones.  He is the son of Joshua and Britni Dalton, grandson of Randy and Gail Dalton.

Testimonies were given and Pastor Neal asked us to share a scripture and many were given.

Stan Humbyrd dismissed by prayer.

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. is special prayer meeting.  Come and be with us.  We need you.

Wednesdays at 7 p.m. is Bible study in the book of Exodus led by Pastor Neal.

Our church is invited to a singing and pie auction at Plainview School for the Goodhope Fire Department on December 1st.
