Don't Miss

Sandy Church

We read our devotion from Acts 23 and prayer requests were given for Paul Duckworth, Danny Johnson, Tom Roberts, our nation and the coming election, for Van Menzies preaching at Salem Church, Grandma Crum, Chloe Wilson and others.  Doyle Humbyrd prayed.

Happy birthday was sung to Wyatt Harris for his first birthday.  He is the son of Jim and Kendra Harris, grandson of Lennie and Ann Johnson and great grand of Bob Siler.

Rick Crum prayed the offertory prayer as he and Stan Humbyrd received our Lord’ tithes and offerings.  It was so good to have Paul Duckworth, who has completed his treatments, and Danny Johnson, who is doing better, with us.  Pastor Neal praised them for their desire to be in church.  We had special prayer at the altar for them.  Paul Duckworth prayed for Danny.

Stan Humbyrd led us in two songs.  Testimonies were shared giving praise.

Pastor Neal read from Hebrews 11:1, the definition of faith.  If we allow the circumstances of life to determine our faith we will be disappointed every time.  He encouraged us to fast and pray for our nation and the election.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by singing and testimonies.  Adalynn Siler sang.  Good job, Adalynn.

LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang.  Pastor Neal read from Luke 22, the betrayal of Jesus foretold.  Jesus is going to suffer and die and his disciples at the table with him were only concerned about who would be greater.  Later, they will all forsake him.

We were dismissed in prayer by Judy Wilson.
