Mt. Tabor Church

We had many to remember in prayer this morning, and so many bereaved families, we asked the Lord to protect our loved ones and restore health to those who are still struggling with illnesses. The community was saddened to hear of the passing of Edythe Applegate, our good friend and neighbor who lived in our community until several years ago.

Brother Ric read from Romans 10:11, whosoever shall believe on Him shall be saved, showing salvation is offered to all.

We wish Brother Don Bryan many more happy birthdays.

We had a nice group for our 5th Sunday night singing, we especially appreciate those from our sister churches who came to sing, play and listen. We also enjoyed good food and fellowship following the event.

We also appreciate all who helped in any way with the bake sale/car wash for Piland Youth Camp Retreat, which will be held October 26 and 27.

Mae Cox’s visitors this week have been Huba Pruiett, her daughter, Becky and husband, Howard Lindstrom, of Rockford, Illinois. They also visited Huba’s sister, Delilah Jenkins and Adrain Owens. Others visiting Mae were Lisa and Jesse, Tim and Donna Nichols.

Martin Hathcock had a doctor’s appointment last week and another this week, maybe he will feel better soon.  Visitors for the Hathcocks were Ronda Soto, Carl and Ruby Sievert, Donita Porter and Diane Cheyney.

Kay Hutchison attended the benefit singing at Bradleyville School with Karen Peck and New River. Visitors this week in the Hutchison home were Dan, Kim, Morgan and Dylan Clements.

Visitors of Bessie Hall this week were Jewell Elliott, J.C.  and Vicky, Dan and Kim Clements, Jo Stephens, Kay Hutchison, Lisa Johnson and Jesse, Shaun Elliott, MaKayla and Logan and Tim Hall.
