Don't Miss

Sandy Church

We read our devotional reading from Romans 5 as Brad Siler began our Sunday school hour.  Prayer requests were given for Paula Calmer, Paul Duckworth, a little boy in St. Jude’s Hospital, Debbie Pitt’s brother, Eugene, the suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac, our nation, leaders and our military with Jacob and Nathan.

A new class was started for two graduates from Children’s Church, Casey Dobbs and Makinna Humbyrd, with teacher, Peggy Miller.

After Sunday school, we were led in songs by Stan Humbyrd.  Pastor Neal prayed and read Luke 21, be not deceived, the words of Jesus.  Any teaching that denies the work on the cross by Jesus Christ is a false gospel.  Let us have spiritual eyes and ears for the spirit of the Anti-Christ is working today.

We were dismissed by Aaron Humbyrd.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed for revival and our church families.  Happy birthday was sung to Connie Johnson.  Pastor Neal continued his teaching on the Anti-Christ.  Today there are many who claim a new revelation from the Lord and deceive many.  Satan is working overtime to kill, steal and destroy.  We have a promise from our God.  “He who overcomes shall inherit all things; I will be his God and he shall be my son”.

Every Tuesday at 7 p.m. we have special prayer meeting.  Every Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible study.  Come and worship with us.  You are welcome.
