The 27th of August, Glenda Sue Strong from Clinton, Missouri picked Norma Cross and me up in Ozark and drove us to Claremore, Oklahoma. Glenda is Norma’s daughter. We visited with sisters, Georgia Sanders and Sue Johnson. Several other relatives came by to say hello. We came home Tuesday evening.

Thursday afternoon Brother Fuller stopped by for a short visit. He was looking for Tony.

Everyone was so happy with the rain over the weekend. We ended up with about two inches. I guess several people are going to get fall veggies out of their gardens. My son called to let me know he will have green beans in a couple of weeks.

Basketball started last week with one game at Plainview and one at Lutie. The girls lost to Bradleyville and won over Lutie.

Tom and Sue Brown and Ervin Schultz drove over to West Plains one day last week. They had lunch while they were there.

Dick and I attended the Haden Reunion on Saturday in Ava. We get to see a lot of old friends George and Ethyl Haden and their daughter from Washington, Jackie and Bonnie and Jim and Irene were all there. I heard someone say there was 88 people there.
