Fall is surely in the air. Some of the trees are starting to change colors and walnuts and leaves are falling.
I went to church with Bob and Linda McCleary on Sunday. On the way home we visited with Kevan and Karan Davis.
Wednesday night Bob and Linda McCleary and I enjoyed being in church with my sister, Nora Hunsaker and Lee, Robin Miller and Darrell at Mansfield.
Bob and Linda McCleary had a doctor appointment in Springfield then met Bob’s sister, Sue and Clay Pickney for lunch.
I went for a drive with Barbara and Jack Breshears on Wednesday. We went to Mansfield and visited with my sister, Nora Hunsaker and Lee. We had lunch at Subway. We haven’t been up U Hwy. lately. Things sure look different with all the new homes. We came home and I took my afternoon nap. Then Barb took me to see Miracle’s FFA project. She’s feeding five baby calves on the bottle. I haven’t seen that done for sometime. It brought back many memories. Then we went for a drive to see their new pond and cleared land. After supper I went home. I sure enjoyed the outing.
Barbara and Jack and Miracle Breshears visited with Bob and Linda and myself one evening. Bob and Susie were also visiting one evening.
Carol Johnson visited with Bob and Linda McCleary.
Teresa Nash brought the grandchildren, Owyn and Olyvia Barcus and Ebanee and Gage Nelson out to feed the calves for Miracle and to visit with Jack and Barbara Breshears Friday night.
Delayna and Terry Dry brought the grandchildren Taylor and Tenley Dry and Emma Dry to visit with Jack and Barbara Breshears and Miracle.
Bryan and Jennifer Withers visited with Jack and Barbara Breshears and Miracle Friday evening. Jack and Barbara visited Preston and Lisa Breshears on Friday.
Jack and Barbara and Miracle Breshears, Lisa Breshears and Bryan and Jennifer Withers joined several other family members and friends for Taylor Dry’s 4th birthday party on Sunday.
We welcome Isabella Faith Hoekema, who was born September 21, 2012. Parents are Jason and Traci (Breshears) Hoekema of Ft. Hood, TX. Grandparents are Preston and Lisa Breshears and great grandparents are Jack and Barbara Breshears and great, great grandparent is 94 year old Mack Miller of Ava, MO.
