By the time the paper comes out this week, the primary election will have been decided who won, or lost. Some will rejoice and some will be disappointed. We’ve been listening to all the interviews on the radio, Art did a good job with the interviews. I’m sure it helped some people to know more about the candidates.

I have had so many people wondering how I’m doing after my bout with the tick bite. I’m still on medication, but am gaining my strength back slowly as I said before, God isn’t through with me yet.

My sister Norma has been an angel sent by God, to help us during this time. She has helped with cooking and cleaning or what ever needs to be done, even driving to Springfield for Dick. It pleases God when families get along. If we are Christ-like, we are to forgive everyone just like He forgives us. There is so much hatred out in the world. Our churches should be filled with people worshiping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Art Hampton is building a bathroom cabinet for Tony and Lisa Richards. They are doing some other remodeling on their house. DeAnn, Kinsey, Kailey, and Kyle Thompson and Dick and Pauline Richards had lunch with Norma Cross and her grandson, Seth Hunt Sunday after church.

Goodhope General Baptist Church had a guest speaker from The Wright County Children’s Home today. He opened our eyes about the needs of children in our area.

The Bible says in II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people which are called by my name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Until next time.
