Present for the August 2nd meeting were Karen N. Davis, Lynn Bentele, Alice Hurley, Lily Branco, Edith McKinnon, Maxine Smith and Linnie Ingram at the Tecumseh Firehouse.
The meeting was called to order by President, Karen N. Davis. Following the Pledge of Allegiance minutes were read by Alice Hurley and accepted as read. Mrs. Don McKee came and accepted the quilt we donated to her son and family whose house burned.
The treasurer’s report was given by Lily. We paid our Ozark County Chamber of Commerce dues of $35. Lily bought three “tote” tubs to hold all of our material for making quilts.
Plans for the quilt show at Hooin’ An’ Hollarin’ were discussed. Ribbons are made and ready. Quilt racks are ready.
We host the DOW October meeting, October 16th and the theme is to be “Know Your Protection Connection.” We furnish the main dishes for lunch. Following lunch our meeting adjourned.
