Black Oak Church

“Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord god is with thee whithersoever thou goest,” Joshua 1:9.

Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday School after congregational singing. He read Luke 4:16-21 for the devotion. Pastor David prayed and Brother Roy dismissed us to class. The children colored a picture on the ascension.

Brother John Little took up the tithes and offerings.

Megan Goforth and Macee Breeding did the penny march for Camp Piland.

Please pray for Marvin Graham, Hunter Adams, Dara and family, John and family, Pete Turley and family, Dana and family, Betty and family, new converts, unsaved, unspoken, country, leaders, military, bereaved and each other.

We had good testimonies. Pastor David sang then preached from Jeremiah 6:16. Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. The best way is God’s way.

We are so thankful for our visitors and missed those who were gone.

We had our VBS on Saturday with our program on Sunday night. We appreciate you so much for all the prayers, helpers, donations and for bringing your children. We had a great time learning about trusting God and that He can do everything.

Please join us if you need a church family.

May God bless you always.
