Well, I am sending these items in early due to the 4th of July holiday so don’t have notes from Sunday yet.

Bob and Nora Edwards enjoyed having Alexis Swearengin spend the day with them on Wednesday. Her Mother, Miranda Milligan, visited awhile when she came to pick her up.

On Thursday afternoon, Nora Edwards, Mary Mackey, Maxine Lund and Shelden Walker spent the afternoon in  Branson  having lunch and seeing the New Gospel Group perform. Nora and Shelden also played a couple of games of Putt Putt golf. Nora had three holes-in-one. She also had one go in the water and one go over the wall. Shelden beat his grandma both games.

On Tuesday, I called my sister, Violet Flair, and sang happy birthday to her. Delmar has been helping his brother, Norman, in the garden a little bit . Norman is doing well after having surgery.

Delmar and I made a trip to Theodosia where my cousins and husband, Jack and Barb Breshears, were camping. We had lunch with them then went junking at the new little shopping center in Theodosia.

On Wednesday, my mom, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams came down for lunch then I took her to her doctor appointment in Ava.

I talked to Aunt Violet Morris and she sounded better. Uncle Hugh is doing about the same. Aunt Violet told me that they had a nice surprise when Jack and Barb Breshears, Mack Miller, Herb and Judie Morris and Howard and Donna Morris all showed up for a visit.

On Thursday, Bevy Moore brought Raylee and Caydee Burton down for me to keep for the day. They are my great granddaughters. We had a good time looking through all my jewelry and trying some of it on and they ended up getting to take some of it home with them to play with. That is a little girl thing.

On Monday evening, Stacie Hamby came over and watched a t.v. Show with me. Also, visiting with us this week were Pauline Okhuysen, Donna Bannister and Bevy Moore.

The hot, dry and humid weather just seems to keep hanging on. I guess it will rain when God is ready to give us some relief.

Until next week, stay cool and have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July.
