Caney Church

Caney went to the White River Youth Camp Wednesday to enjoy their service. What a thrill it was to hear the young ones sing and make a move for Christ.

Sunday school opened with singing. We were blessed to have Sam and Judy Clemans. Judy played the piano for us. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone. He took prayer requests. Sis. Tracy Shipley led us in prayer. Jack read Ezekiel 18:25-32 for our devotion.

Happy Anniversary was sung to Roger and Melissa Harmon. God bless them!

The Shipley girls sang for us while offering was received. Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty and Jeff Shipley.

Praise and Worship began with singing. Bro. Sam Clemans blessed us by leading us in song. Singing special music was Sam Clemans and Melissa Harmon. Pastor Bill Austin spoke from Hebrews 9:24, 7:25-26, John 8:3-11 and Joshua 2:9. Jesus is able to save to the uttermost. Jesus came to save those that are lost. God has given His people a land….Heaven. Do you know Jesus? What if He was coming in three days? What would you do?

Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley took charge of the service taking prayer requests/praise reports. We have so many concerns. Bro. Hi Lambeth led our hearts in prayer. Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty and Janice Lafferty. Pastor Bill spoke Sunday evening. He brought his message from Luke 10:17-20, 10:1-9, Deuteronomy 30:9-20 and Revelation 3:1. Don’t rejoice over wordly things, but rejoice because your name is written in Heaven. Only through the blood of Christ can your name be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Obey and live as best you can, the Holy Word of God. Bro. Hi led in a special prayer for rain. We are blessed to have a God-called spirit-filled man to stand in the pulpit at Caney. A spirit-filled day in the Lord. We were glad to be in the house of the Lord. Come worship with us.
