Red Bud News

Good morning to all our readers. We hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend and stayed cool as the weather was vey hot and no rain in sight. Remember to check on the shut-ins during all this heat and drink plenty of water.

We send get-well wishes to all the sick, the ones in the hospitals, and nursing homes.

Our sympathy to all who have lost loved ones. May God bless you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts are with you.

We also send greetings to everyone who has a birthday at this time. May you have a great day with many more to come.

On Thursday last week we here at the village were truly blessed. The ladies from Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare and Ava Place fixed and served our monthly dinner to 24 residents and 8 guests that signed the book. There may have been more than that. Our hats are off to these ladies as they did a great job and the food was delicious. Again we appreciate all of you. We also want to give our appreciation to the people who brought in their produce for us to share.

This news from the desk of Fae Pruett. Wanda Hutchinson took me to the eye doctor in Springfield on Tuesday. She stayed and visited for a while when we got back home. Lois Graham visited one day also.

On Wednesday afternoon Stephinie Watkins came to spend some time with “Nanny” Norma for a few days. I sure enjoyed her visit. She went back to Mansfield on Saturday.

We attended several activities while she was here and I think she enjoyed them all. We kept pretty busy being on the move for different things such as church, dinner, theatre music, B.A.C.A. program at Fox Trotters and other things.

We say welcome to our new residents. Until next week, try to stay cool and healthy and pray for rain. Jesus loves you!
